Hi there I’m Tom Williams a professional speaker, salesman, husband, historian and seasoned traveler. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, and now enjoying the daily view of the mountains in Northern Alabama overlooking the Tennessee River. Since 1965 I have worked in radio and T.V. I’ve owned, managed, sold for and been air talent on some of the most fun and successful broadcast properties in the Southeast and Central U.S. I have mentored many and have been the student of some of the nation’s greatest men and women, in politics, business and sports. I have studied their ways and adapted what I have learned to help me be even more successful. I have my B.A. in communications and my Masters in Marketing and like a museum, my education is never finished. I am blessed with knowing a little bit about a lot of things. I love meeting new people, I find I learn so much. In 1965, I had the opportunity to be killed and lived to tell the story. 7000 volts and a 40 foot trip off a power pole and well, that’s when my life really began. I love life and I love to share that passion with anyone who will listen. Winning is fun, and getting there is exciting. When you put your mind to it, you body can have a great trip. Yes, getting there is fun. If your not having fun, why not? Since 1985 I have traveled and spoke to business groups, media groups and a myriad of high school and college students about the reality of it, “If is to be, it is up to me”. Simple but real, if you get it read on. Today, I have begun to enjoy life as never before. Since 2002 I have been the principal owner and C.E.O. of WJXS TV. Today, after selling the operation, I am enjoying the first part of my retirement. I can’t wait for the second and third part….I am still outlining how exciting I want those next segments to be. I have been blessed some of life’s simple rewards, a smart, technical and very driven wife, son, family, and future. By the way don’t say to me who do you think you are, a rocket scientists, and I’ll answer by saying, no, that’s my wife.
